Our Black Lily Classic Candle fills the room with a sultry and decadent scent, rich with notes of Vetiver, Amber, Patchouli & Violet. Handmade in small batches, using a blend of natural and renewable vegetable wax, this classic Manor candle has a clean and even burn time of 40 hours. Beautifully presented in an opulent softly smoked glass, it's perfect for keeping the living room, fresh.

This woody scent pairs perfectly with our Portobello Oud, Amber, or English Summer fragrances.
Care
-Trim your wick to 0.5cm before lighting. Keep wick trimmed to 0.5cm for each use thereafter.
-Light your candle for at least 2 hours (and no more than 4 hours) until the whole top is liquid with wax. This will help your candle burn more evenly the next time you light it.
Sustainability
-Our wax is made using a unique blend of natural waxes. This includes Rapeseed Wax, Coconut Wax and Beeswax.
-The candle is presented in a glass vessel and the wax is water soluble, making it extremely easy to use with our candle refills.
-Hand finished at our carbon neutral factory in Wiltshire. The factory is powered by a combination of solar power and renewable biomass.
-Your candle will be shipped in a fully recyclable box, filed with natural and compostable corn starch packing chips.
FAQs
How do I get the best burn from my True Grace candle?
For the best performance, allow the wax to melt fully across the surface on the first burn. Trim the wick to around 5mm before each use and burn for 2–4 hours at a time to ensure an even, long-lasting candle.
Why is my True Grace candle tunnelling?
Tunnelling happens when the candle isn’t burned long enough to create a full melt pool. To avoid this, always allow the wax to reach the edges of the vessel during each burn.
Do True Grace candles burn cleanly?
Yes, True Grace candles are made with a natural wax blend and carefully selected wicks, helping them burn evenly with minimal smoke when properly maintained.

This is a lovely scent that smells strong and lasts unlike cheaper products. It lasts for a few months and then you can buy the refill, which is half the price as the original. I would definitely recommend this brand, I have tried several and True Grace is the best.

A great refill candle. The Black Lily is a beautiful heady scent.
I have these fragrance cards in my wardrobe. When I open the doors, I am enveloped with this most beautiful, divine fragrance. I use the room spray in the same fragrance to replenish the fragrance on the cards when the fragrance starts to disappear. They are great value and the fragrance does last for a long time. Great in the car too and have these in the Portabello Oud fragrance, using the room spray to replenish the fragrance.
Black Lily is the most gorgeous fragrance and it is up there with Portabello Oud. It has such longevity and fills the room. I would say that this is a feminine fragrance but my partner who is male likes the fragrance. I use it to scent the leaves that I have in my wardrobe as well when the fragrance needs replenishing.

A very dear friend bought me a Black Lily candle many years ago now and I absolutely loved the beautiful fragrance. So when the candle completely finished recently I just had to replace it and was delighted to be able to purchase a refill. Perfect!

Lovely aroma
Black Lily is a rich heady fragrance that fills the room and lasts hours after burning.
Unsure what to buy then this fragrance is in my opinion one of their best. Starting with the bottle, the spray pattern really atomises the fragrance into the air allowing long lasting scent. High quality ingredients which you can tell straight away. A really nice homely scent from Black lily that smells amazing. This is a staple for our household. Highly recommended.

Have bought True Grace oils and diffusers from our local John Lewis since 2016 and have always been totally satisfied with the quality of the products. The oils have a very sophisticated and true smell with no chemical odor that some we have tried do.
I have been a long time fan of True Grace and have been buying the Black Lily range for years! I LOVE it SO much and I get so many compliments of the lovely fragrance in my home when anyone visits.
I discovered this beautiful fragrance when I stayed in a holiday home when visiting Bath for my son's wedding. I kept thinking " where's that gorgeous, relaxing smell coming from" and then I spotted the diffuser in the bedroom. I bought the diffuser, and now a couple of refills. This seems more effective and fragrant than any diffuser I have bought before. I will have to keep buying this for my bedroom. I love it !
I love this fragrance all year round but with the curtains drawn and the fire lit it really comes into its own. It has to be True Grace though!!!
