A candle becomes a keepsake the moment it's got someone's name on it - a birthday, a new home, a Christmas you want them to remember. Hand-engraved in our Wiltshire workshop, and because the jar's refillable, it doesn't have to end when the candle does.
How It Works

- 3. We do the rest. Hand-engraved in Wiltshire and dispatched within 5 working days.
What to Write
A message - "Merry Christmas, Love Pip x." A date.
Or coordinates for somewhere that matters - ours would read 51.1789, -1.8262, Stonehenge, just down the road.
A personalised candle means more when the fragrance suits them as well as the message does. If you know their favourite, start there. If you don't, our scent guide sorts everything by feeling rather than ingredient list - from Fresh and Citrus for the morning person, to Woody and Herby for the one who likes to slow down.

How much does it cost to personalise a candle?
Engraving costs £5, added when you personalise a candle at checkout. It's available on all Manor Classic and Burlington candles.
How long does personalisation take?
Engraved candles are dispatched within 5 working days. If you're buying for a specific date, we'd recommend ordering with that lead time in mind, especially around Christmas.
What can I write on a personalised candle?
Up to 30 characters — letters, numbers, and standard punctuation. That's enough for most names, short dates, or a brief phrase. We don't currently support emojis or special characters.
Can I return a personalised candle?
Because each one is made specifically for you, engraved candles can't be returned or exchanged unless faulty.
Can I refill a personalised candle?
Yes — that's rather the point. Once the jar is clean, it takes any of our candle refills, so the engraving stays in use well beyond the first candle.
