Piccadilly at nine, the arcade glowing and the evening only just getting started. Jasmine drifting from a florist's doorway, a worn leather jacket on the back of a chair, and a city that feels like yours. Made for our shop in Burlington Arcade, it is a fragrance for the city as it is today.

Mandarin, cardamom and whisky arrive first, lifting the air with warm, spiced notes. Jasmine and leather follow, adding floral glamour and a worn, supple depth, while clove and cumin bring richness. Musk, amber, vanilla and sandalwood settle slowly into the space, creating a rich, lasting atmosphere.

Hand-poured in small batches using a blend of natural and renewable waxes, it provides a clean, even burn and a consistent scent for up to 40 hours.

Presented in a deep, olive green glass vessel, it brings a considered presence to the room, designed to sit effortlessly within any space.

Made in Wiltshire

True Grace was founded in 2003 by Philippa and Roger Biles, and is still independently run from rural Wiltshire.

Every candle is blended, poured and finished under one roof, in small batches by our team of skilled artisans.

Burlington was created for our shop in Burlington Arcade, and is made here in Wiltshire.

Sustainability

Our Wiltshire factory has held Carbon Neutral status from the Carbon Trust since 2015, powered by solar power and renewable biomass.

Our candles are made with plant-based rapeseed wax from a renewable, non-GM source, and burn for up to 40 hours.

Taking a moment

Light it when the day starts to slow. Before you sit down, before you look at your phone. Give it a minute.

Trim the wick to around 5mm before each burn. For the first light, let it burn until the melt pool reaches the edges. This helps the wax burn evenly and prevents tunnelling. Keep it away from draughts and always place it on a heat-resistant surface.

The fragrance will build as the wax warms. Let it.
