First time trying this scent and it’s lovely and fresh. It’s so dependent on individual preference and this is on the stronger side but not overpowering- just enough to notice, would buy again.

Our English Garden Classic Candle Refill fills the room with a layered and complex scent, rich with notes of Cedarwood, Basil, Cypress and Black Pepper. Handmade in small batches, using a blend of natural and renewable vegetable wax, this refill has been thoughtfully designed to fit inside our classic candle jars. Perfect for the living room, study, hallway or dining room, the refill has a clean and even burn time of 40 hours.

This woody and herbal scent pairs perfectly with our Rosemary Eucalyptus, Cabinet of Curiosities or Black Pepper fragrances.
Care
- Use warm, soapy water to remove any leftover wax in your current True Grace jar & remove the wick placer before adding your candle refill.
- Trim your wick to 0.5cm before lighting. Keep wick trimmed to 0.5cm for each use thereafter.
- Light your candle for at least 2 hours (and no more than 4 hours) until the whole top is liquid with wax. This will help your candle burn more evenly the next time you light it
- We recommend only using our jars which have been heat treated.

FAQs
How do I get the best burn from my True Grace candle?
For the best performance, allow the wax to melt fully across the surface on the first burn. Trim the wick to around 5mm before each use and burn for 2–4 hours at a time to ensure an even, long-lasting candle.
Why is my True Grace candle tunnelling?
Tunnelling happens when the candle isn’t burned long enough to create a full melt pool. To avoid this, always allow the wax to reach the edges of the vessel during each burn.
Do True Grace candles burn cleanly?
Yes, True Grace candles are made with a natural wax blend and carefully selected wicks, helping them burn evenly with minimal smoke when properly maintained.

Quite subtle but a beautiful unique aroma.
I absolutely love the English Garden diffuser - it's a wonderful, unusual scent that evokes crisp rain and vibrant cut stems, with rich grounded dark green basenotes. I haven't come across a similar scent elsewhere and highly recommend giving it a try. The diffuser oil smells great too, though unfortunately slightly irritates my eyes in an electronic water diffuser (which happens with other essential oils for me too) so I'm looking forward to trying in a heat diffuser. The soap is quite lightly scented, and gives a nice hit of the pleasure of smelling the scent when you use it. The candle great when unlit, but doesn't have as much throw as I had hoped, or the same sense of freshness that I get from the diffuser/oil when lit.
