At True Grace, we believe a candle should be more than just a scent—it should be a ritual, a quiet luxury, and a moment of beauty in your day. But what makes a candle truly exceptional? Behind the soft glow and elegant fragrance lies a thoughtful combination of craftsmanship,
performance, and purposefully chosen ingredients.
In this blog post, we take you behind the scenes to explore the three essential elements that make our candles stand out: how they’re made, what makes them burn beautifully, and why our signature
natural wax blend matters.
Every candle we create begins with care. It starts with our expertly crafted fragrances, each one blended with our signature natural wax at just the right temperature to ensure even scent distribution.
We hand-pour each batch into vessels designed not only for beauty, but also to support a steady, even burn. Wicks are placed with precision. The wax is poured slowly and left to cool, forming a smooth, flawless surface. Each candle is then cured, trimmed, and inspected by hand, because
every detail matters.
This small-batch, considered approach allows us to maintain exceptional quality and deliver a product that feels special from the
first light to the final burn.
A candle’s performance is just as important as its fragrance. A well-made candle will burn evenly, cleanly, and slowly, filling the room with fragrance without tunneling, smoking, or overpowering the space.
Key elements of a perfect burn include:
- The Wick: Selected specifically for the size and composition of the candle, ensuring a steady flame and minimal soot.
- The Vessel: Our glass containers are designed to enhance airflow and heat distribution.
- The Wax: Our wax is the hero—clean-burning, slow-melting, and beautifully fragrant.
We always recommend trimming the wick to around 5mm before each burn. It’s a small act of care that makes a big difference.
