Scent Guide

Refreshing and uplifting scents that are reminiscent of walking through fields in the height of summer or along breezy coastal paths. Fragrances that capture the scent of ripening fruits and vegetables growing in the greenhouse and a soothing herbal green tea.

Light our Vine Tomato candle when you're making something delicious in the kitchen, or use one of our diffusers to fill your room with cooling eucalyptus and mint.

What makes a scent fresh?

Fresh scents spruce up any space in the home. They are energising, light and aromatic, perfect for spring cleans. Typically a fresh scent is rich with citrus, herbal or fruity notes. From lime, bergamot, peppermint, eucalyptus, neroli, grapefruit and crushed green leaves, they have crisp and zesty qualities.

ARE FRESH SCENTS RIGHT FOR ME?

If you're looking for an invigorating scent that's crisp and clean, often inspired by nature, fruits and herbs, then fresh scents might be for you.

Fresh scents can uplift, but some have soothing and calming attributes too. Our Lawn fragrance is a blend of fresh cypress oil, geranium, chamomile and lavender which brings a resounding sense of relaxation and balance to any space. It's a cosy scent but it also captures those reflective moments in the great outdoors.

WHERE SHOULD I USE FRESH SCENTS?

Welcome your guests into your home with the inviting scents of fresh linen, delicate florals and citrus fruits, with a diffuser or candle in the hallway. It's the perfect greeting whatever the weather outside.

Transform your bathroom into a spa like retreat with our Seashore fragrance. Run a bubble bath, light a seashore candle and be transported to the calming coast. Citrus scents, much like our Wild Lime or Green Tea & Citrus fragrances are great for keeping this space fresh too. A room spray or diffuser in those fragrances would soon rid of any unwanted smells.

A herby or fruity scent, much like Vine Tomato or Lemon Tree are perfect for the kitchen and garden parties with friends. These fragrances are great for accentuating the delightful herby scents of ripening fruits growing on the kitchen window sill, or why not light a candle whilst tucking into supper. Do be cautious with this though, as you wouldn't want to overpower the comforting scents of your homemade dishes.

ARE FRESH SCENTS FOR WINTER?

Fresh scents are all year round fragrances and sometimes can feel much needed in the depths of winter. A scent like Seashore or Chesil Beach can conjure images of sun-bleached pebbles and the welcoming scent of tangy of salt and fresh seaweed. If you're longing for a coastal getaway then these scents might be of comfort.

WHAT DO OUR FRESH SCENTS PAIR WELL WITH?

Most fragrances that are in the same fragrance family work well together as each adds their own personality to the mix without clashing. Pairing within the same fragrance family is also great if you have a preferred scent type but want to enhance the notes you already love.

Seashore & Green Tea and Citrus

Water and green scents pair beautifully with citrus fragrances. They share their cool and refreshing undertones and are a great choice for bathrooms or utility areas.

Rosemary and Eucalyptus & Chesil Beach

This dynamic duo shares an invigorating eucalyptus note and each brings a variety of lively herbaceous notes into the mix. Their freshness makes them perfect for bathrooms and kitchens.
