Our Portobello Oud Large Candle fills the room with a luxurious, woody and spicy scent, rich with notes of Patchouli, Leather, Sandalwood and Ginger. Handmade in small batches, using a blend of natural and renewable vegetable wax, this large Burlington candle has a clean and even burn time of 95 hours. Beautifully presented in hand blown amber glass, it's perfect for keeping the living room, fresh.

Care
- Trim your wick to 0.5cm before lighting. Keep wick trimmed to 0.5cm for each use thereafter.
- Light your candle for at least 2 hours (and no more than 4 hours) until the whole top is liquid with wax. This will help your candle burn more evenly the next time you light it.
Sustainability
-Our wax is made using a unique blend of natural waxes. This includes Rapeseed Wax, Coconut Wax and Beeswax.
-The candle is presented in a glass vessel and the wax is water soluble, making it extremely easy to reuse the vessel.
-Hand finished at our carbon neutral factory in Wiltshire. The factory is powered by a combination of solar power and renewable biomass.
-Your candle will be shipped in a fully recyclable box, filed with natural and compostable corn starch packing chips.
FAQs
How do I get the best burn from my True Grace candle?
For the best performance, allow the wax to melt fully across the surface on the first burn. Trim the wick to around 5mm before each use and burn for 2–4 hours at a time to ensure an even, long-lasting candle.
Why is my True Grace candle tunnelling?
Tunnelling happens when the candle isn’t burned long enough to create a full melt pool. To avoid this, always allow the wax to reach the edges of the vessel during each burn.
Do True Grace candles burn cleanly?
Yes, True Grace candles are made with a natural wax blend and carefully selected wicks, helping them burn evenly with minimal smoke when properly maintained.

I first smelled this scent while staying at the lovely The Yard hotel in Bath. Portobello Oud products were in our bathroom. I was hooked immediately and ordered it first thing when I arrived back home in the states. Paid around $50 for international shipping, but honestly worth it! I plan to make this the signature scent of my home. Its so perfect. Please never stop making it haha.

Smells lovely and is a present for someone
We were in a shop in Portrush when we initially smelt it. We didn’t buy at the time, which I regretted. However we bought online and my home smells beautiful. I find the scent good and strong and I love how everytime I come into our living room, you can smell the scent. I have had many other brands such as Jo Malone, Valanette, M&S and none have compared to True Grace Portobello Oud. I would absolutely recommend.

Fabulous fragrance from a Portobello Oud candle that burns very nicely, without pooling, etc. The only drawback is the price. Regardless of the burn time, these candles are very expensive. That being said, it could be argued that you get what your pay for. Have I bought True Grace candles previously? Yes I have. Will I buy them again? Yes I will however, the reed diffuser is a different story and in so much as when buying a refill, the perfume is marginal regardless of how frequently the reeds are "turned". Would I buy a diffuser again? Probably not. The room mist is first class (again, Portobello Oud) and it's on repeat prescription. Onto the Sacristy and Library candles.....both were rather disappointing, as the perfume was almost none existent. Would I buy either again? No. The Fig candle is however, in direct contrast to the two noted above, first rate in every manner. In my opinion, True Grace products are becoming too expensive and I will probably only purchase again in a sale, or three for two offer.
