True Grace was founded in 2003 by Philippa and Roger Biles, and has called rural Wiltshire home ever since. Rolling fields, open sky, hedgerows - the kind of countryside that's always showing you something. It's the place that shapes the way we work.

Philippa trained under Mandy Aftel in Berkeley, California, one of natural perfumery's most respected names. Not just how to blend, but how to understand what she's blending. The Pure Oils range grew directly from that: three scents, inspired by a familiar landscape and a familiar need.

Every candle is made in small batches under one roof - blended, poured and finished by hand. It takes time. That's rather the point.

Our Wiltshire factory has held Carbon Neutral status from the Carbon Trust since 2015, powered by solar and renewable biomass. Not a claim we make lightly.

This candle is formulated from 100% natural essential oils, every one blended by hand. We make things to last. It's the least complicated way we know to do the right thing.

Light it when the day starts to slow. Before you sit down, before you check your phone. Give it a minute.

Trim the wick to 5mm before each burn. First light, let it burn until the melt pool reaches the edges - this stops the wax tunnelling later and keeps the burn even. Keep it away from draughts, and always set it on something heat-resistant.
