Orange and bright citrus arrive first, sweet and sparkling. Clove and cinnamon follow, adding warmth and spice. Musks settle slowly into the space, creating a soft, glowing atmosphere.
Hand-poured in small batches using a blend of natural and renewable waxes, it provides a clean, even burn and a consistent scent for up to 40 hours.
Presented in a deep olive green glass vessel, it brings a considered presence to the room, designed to sit effortlessly within any space.
Made in Wiltshire
True Grace was founded in 2003 by Philippa and Roger Biles, and is still independently run from rural Wiltshire.
Every candle is blended, poured and finished under one roof, in small batches by our team of skilled artisans.
Cinnamon & Clove is one of our autumn scents, made here in Wiltshire.
Sustainability
Our Wiltshire factory has held Carbon Neutral status from the Carbon Trust since 2015, powered by solar power and renewable biomass.
Our candles are made with a blend of natural and renewable waxes, and burn for up to 40 hours.
Taking a moment
Light it when the day starts to slow. Before you sit down, before you look at your phone. Give it a minute.
Trim the wick to around 5mm before each burn. For the first light, let it burn until the melt pool reaches the edges. This helps the wax burn evenly and prevents tunnelling. Keep it away from draughts and always place it on a heat-resistant surface.
The fragrance will build as the wax warms. Let it.

Saving for Christmas
This is one of my husband's favourite candles. The candle doesn't need to burn for long as the aroma has real depth to it and is long lasting. We've stocked up with a couple of these!

Smells amazing

Lovely fragrance The fragrance of this candle is exactly as described - cinnamon and clove - and it makes me think of Christmas. It's warm and subtle. Most scented candles cause me to cough or block my nose, but True Grace is exceptional in this respect. Pricy, but they're the only candles I can use and they always smell wonderful; the scent fills the room.
Warm and cozy ! As I have said in my review for this fragrance in the room spray, it’s just beautiful, warm, comforting and cozy, just try it, you won’t be disappointed, the fragrance is, as always with True Grace absolutely true to its name. Perfect !
A beautiful warming scent What a beautiful warm and cozy fragrance, perfect for Autumnal evenings snuggled up on the sofa. Having said that, after discovering this beautiful fragrance, I have the diffusers in use throughout the day too 😊
Probably my favourite candle I love True Grace candles. I find they burn evenly and they have beautiful fragrances. I like the company’s green credentials too. The cinnamon and clove is probably my favourite fragrance and is especially suitable around Christmas - but any time is fine with me!

Cinnamon & clove candle Christmas in a tin!
Not the fragrance for me! Usually love TG scents but this one is really artificial. Smells fairly generically spiced, I can’t really pick out cinnamon or clove, and it makes me feel a bit sick. Sorry to say that it reminds me of a headache-inducing Magic Tree, which is very much what I try to avoid! Wish I’d chosen a different scent as I have loved all others I’ve tried.
I am so disappointed with this. I was so looking forward to getting it but I’ve had to put a stopper in the bottle as it’s giving me a headache. :-( I thought it would be a smell like when you stud an orange with cloves and a lovely Christmassy smell but it’s a bit floral almost and powdery. It’s like a detergent company have tried to do a Christmas washing powder. Gutted. I will stick to rosemary and eucalyptus from now on.
Disappointing :( to me it doesnt smell like cinnamon or clove at all, smells powdery and slightly musky. Was expecting a stronger scent.
Disappointed This candle has a floral scent alongside the cinnamon and clove which was really disappointing. I thought the cinnamon/clove/citrus/orange might come through more as it burned but unfortunately there is a lasting floral smell which I wasn’t expecting at all. I bought this instead of our normal ‘Christmas’ candle from elsewhere as I have loved some of the other True Grace scents, I dislike the scent so much that I can’t use it.
