My favourite festive candle, I only discover the Manor candle a couple of years ago but have already bought and burned 4 and will be filling the rooms with this lovely scent again this year. Highly recommend.

It started with a chandelier. Long strands of crystal catching the candlelight like small stars, a gilded crown, tiers of tall candles. Roger and Philippa found it at an antiques dealer, fell for it on sight and brought it home, with the thought that one day they would have a house to go with it. When they met French designer Frédéric Bonnin at Maison&Objet, it became the starting point for something new. Frédéric, known for his work with Minakani, took the chandelier's intricate, celestial character and drew a Christmas night sky of stars, comets and planets, in gold. A little unexpected, a little magical, and very much at home at Christmas.
Spicy orange, red apple and a touch of pumpkin arrive first, bright and sweet. Cinnamon and clove follow, adding warmth and spice. Vanilla settles slowly into the space, creating a rich, festive finish.
Hand-poured in small batches using a blend of natural and renewable waxes, it provides a clean, even burn and a consistent scent for up to 40 hours. Made to fill the living room, study or hallway.
Presented in deep olive green glass, printed in gold with a printed night sky of stars, comets and drifting planets. The gold glows as the candle burns, and the candle looks at home on a mantel or dining table.

True Grace was founded in 2003 by Philippa and Roger Biles, and is still independently run from rural Wiltshire.
Every candle is blended, poured and finished under one roof, in small batches by our team of skilled artisans.
Manor Christmas is one of our festive scents, made here in Wiltshire. The print was drawn for us by French designer Frédéric Bonnin.
Sustainability
Our Wiltshire factory has held Carbon Neutral status from the Carbon Trust since 2015, powered by solar power and renewable biomass.
Our candles are made with a blend of natural and renewable waxes, and burn for up to 40 hours. Each one is shipped in a fully recyclable box with compostable cornstarch packing chips.
Taking a moment
Light it when the day starts to slow. Before you sit down, before you look at your phone. Give it a minute.
Trim the wick to around 5mm before each burn. For the first light, let it burn until the melt pool reaches the edges. This helps the wax burn evenly and prevents tunnelling. Keep it away from draughts and always place it on a heat-resistant surface.
The fragrance will build as the wax warms. Let it.

Deeply scented Christmassy candle.
Classic Christmas scented candle. My all time favourite wish they’d make them in refill versions.
Manor Christmas really does smell of Christmas and its beautiful scent permeates the whole house. It’s definitely one I’d purchase again next year and maybe even burn for a while longer during the winter months.

Smells amazing and burns really nicely
I simply cant recommend this enough! I hang it on the back of the headrests in my car and my car is a joy to be in at this time of year. Feels and smells christmassy. Not overpowering or synthetic just really lovely.

A lovely, warming scent. I have this diffuser by the door and is a very welcoming, cosy scent for winter. It’s not too overpowering and I like to flip the reeds every few days to maximise the scent!

Arrived well packaged. Beautifully decorated jar. The smell just from the box is divine and such a reminder of Christmas. I have not lit it yet as not quite christmas. I know from other True Grace candles it will burn well. Absolutely love it.

I was gifted a fragrance leaf from my Mum to put in my car in the run up to Christmas. I couldn't help but open it in early November and it is perfect, the car smells christmassy, the scent strength is just right, you can smell it but it is not overpowering just in the background. I love to change the scent in my car regularly to keep it fresh and these leaves are the best way to do it, I hang one behind the head rest of the driver and passenger seat! Would recommend this Christmas scent.
