Q. Can I change the date of my workshop?
A. Please request any date changes at least 10 days ahead of your booked workshop. If you're ill or cannot attend the workshop last minute, please email enquires@truegrace.com so that we can let you know your options. Please Note: you can only change the date of your workshop once.
Q. Can I get a refund on my workshop ticket?
A. As per our T&Cs, please note workshop bookings are strictly non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend the workshop, we will do our best to accommodate changes to your booking with at least 10 days’ notice via email before your booked slot at enquiries@truegrace.com.
Q. What if I turn up late to a class?
A. Though we ask you to please arrive on time, we’re happy to accommodate latecomers up to 10-15 minutes past the class start time.
Q. Can I choose a scent on the day of the workshop?
A. Yes, we will offer 12 True Grace scents on the day of the workshops for you to pick for your candle.
Q. How many people will be attending my workshop?
A. Our candle making workshop guest capacity is 10 guests. We will run the workshop with a minimum of 4 people.
Q. How long will the workshop last?
A. Our candle making workshops are usually around 2hrs.
Q. Do you have wheelchair access?
A. Our showroom / workshop space is accessible, and we welcome everyone to join our workshops. Just drop us an email at enquires@truegrace.com with any accessibility requirements so that we can prepare your space ahead of your workshop.
Q. What if I have allergies and sensitivities?
A. Customers acknowledge that they may encounter fragrance substances that may present allergen potential - please check the list of fragrance ingredients. If you have any known allergies to fragrance ingredients, let us know before signing up. Gloves can be provided.
Q. Can I bring a plus one if they haven't booked?
A. Our workshop space only has the capacity to hold booked guests. Please check the website for spaces for your plus one to book onto.
Q. Is the candle making classes suitable for young children?
A. Our workshops are not designed for children, but we’re happy to welcome those 18 and over.
Q. Can I take my candle home with me on the day of the session?
A. We encourage everyone to take their candles home with them on the day, but they will need to be kept upright and safe on the journey home to make sure they set correctly.
Q. I want to host a private candle making session, how do I do this?
A. Excellent! We can't wait to meet you all. Just drop us an email at
enquires@truegrace.com, we’d be more than happy to arrange a private class with you.
Q. My friend who I booked into a class with is ill / has Covid, but I don't want to join a session without them. What do I do?
A. Sorry to hear your friend is ill. We still advise you to come if you’re not ill but please email enquires@truegrace.com with as much notice as possible and we’ll talk through your options.
Q. After the class how do I trim my wick?
A. Before trimming your wick, make sure to check that the wax has
solidified. This should be around 24 hours after you’ve poured the candle. To start, just remove your wick, pinch the wick and with a sharp pair of scissors simply trim most of the wick, leaving about 5mm worth of wick.
Q. Can I tranfer my ticket to another person?
A. Yes, you can tranfer your ticket to another person. You need to do this at least 10 days before your workshop date. Please note: we can only tranfser to one other person. The ticket cannot be tranferred multipple times.
Q. Why has my workshop date been rescheduled?
A. We require at least 4 attendees per workshop. If the workshop you have chosen has 4 or less booking we will contact you to arrange an alternative date at least 10 days prior to your original date.
